Practical Information about Kronborg Castle

The National Museum of Denmark complies with the advice from Danish health authorities and ask people displaying symptoms of respiratory infections to postpone visits to our museums and palaces until further notice.
The parking area lies on the corner of Nordhavnsvej and Kronborgvej - approximately a 5 minute walk from the castle. The parking fee is DKK 10 per hour. Parking for the disabled can be found to the left of the castle yard's entrance. Before driving into the castle area you need to consult the castle guard. The castle guard is situated near the big gate close to the entrance.
Wheelchairs and Buggies
There is good access to the Castle Courtyard. It is not possible to move around indoors with wheelchairs and buggies.
Bags and other Luggage
Bags and other luggage larger than 35 x 15 x 30 cm must be left in the cloakroom.
The Coastal Battery
The Coastal Battery area is open from sunrise (earliest from 06:00) to sunset.
Free wifi available at Kronborg. Simply select Kronborg wifi and accept a standard disclaimer.
Use wifi to listen to stories about the castle's main rooms. Look for signs with QR codes on window sills. Scan the code and get the exciting story of the room, what it was used for, and who lived there.
